Riding Yellowwood State Forest
Yellowwood State Forest is located in the rolling hills of
Brown County Indiana. The forests's 23,200 scenic, sprawling
acres offer three pristine lakes, hiking and horse trails,
abundant wildlife, and overnight campsites easily accessible
to the public.
Riding Wilstem Ranch
The Crack Research Team at Horseback Riding Articles.com has heard there is a trail riding site called Wilstem Ranch near Paoli, Indiana.
Riding Tippy
Tippecanoe is near Winamac, Indiana.
There are over 12 miles of trails that wind through the
woods, you will see deer, and may wish to climb the fire
tower.
Riding Maumee
The trail follows a long ridge and since you have to
cross Salt Creek to get to the trail from Maumee it is
best to do it when the creek is low in the fall.

Just trails, no horseman's campground.
Riding in Tennessee
Tennessee is the perfect destination for vacationers. It provides the perfect entertainment for all tastes. Whether you are a music buff, sports fan, history enthusiast or a nature lover, it offers ample pleasure for all.
Riding German Ridge
The trails are nice and they are a stacked loop system
so you can ride an hour, 2 or 4 or so on. The trails
are well marked and maintained. The longest trail is 19
miles long and a really good ride.
Riding Francis Slocum State Forest
The exact number and length of trails is not known,
but the trials are classified as "pretty". Many follow
the Mississinewa River. The hills are easy and rolling.
Some trails miles are rocky and sometimes muddy.
There is no campground. A fun day ride.
Riding Caprock
This park offers both day use and camping areas. Visitors may bring their own horses.
Riding Brazos Bend State Park
The 20 primitive equestrian campsites are located at the trailhead of the 14-mile equestrian/multiple-use trail system. The campground is located under a grove of pecan trees and each site has a picnic table. Some sites have a campfire ring. Electricity, water and restrooms facilities are not provided at the campsite. Water for horses is available.
Riding Big Bend
Daily/Hourly horseback rides are offered at the Sauceda Ranch Headquarters with Park staff guiding visitors through some of park's canyon trails. Visitors may also bring in their own stock with appropriate documentation.

Red Hills State Park
In southeastern Illinois midway between Olney and Lawrenceville on U.S. 50, Red Hills is a carefully preserved and maintained 967-acres of high wooded hills, deep ravines, captivating meadows and year-round springs.
Pyramid State Recreation Area
Over 16 miles of trails south of Pinckneyville off
state Highway 127. in Perry County, Illinois.
Potato Creek State Park
Potato Creek State Park is near North Liberty.
The camp sites are large and most are well shaded, and the
park has a great bicycle trail (paved through the woods) and
very nice lake and beach, so there is lots to do besides
trail riding.
Pere Marquette State Park
Located 5 miles west of Grafton, Pere Marquette State Park comprises 8,050 acres making it Illinois' largest state park.
Morrison-Rockwood State Park
A trip to picturesque Morrison-Rockwood State Park
offers many memorable experiences. A large sign in the
shape of Illinois, fashioned from angle iron by a
blacksmith, greets visitors at the entrance.
Moraine View State Recreation Area
With fully developed facilities for horseback riding, the 1,687-acre Moraine View State Recreation Area, with its 158-acre lake, is a beautiful, convenient and accessible locale for relaxation and recreation.
Lake Le-Aqua-Na State Park
About 40 miles southeast of Dubuque, Iowa near the Wisconsin state line and the towen of Lena
Indiana Dunes Trail Riding
Unfortunately, it is not a very long trail, only about 3 1/2 to 4 miles, and it does not take you near the shores of Lake Michigan

Green River State Wildlife Area
Green River State Wildlife Area is located about six
miles northwest of the town of Ohio, in Illinois, off
Illinois Route 26.
Great Riding at Jubilee
Jubilee College State Park is just west of Peoria. 25 miles of trails and a primative campground (no electric or showers) Nice mix of woods and open, flatter creek bottoms and hills.
Fun at Brown County
We usually ride our horses to the small village of Story. There is an outstanding restaurant with a menu good enough to make strong men salivate!
Finding Waterloo Recreation Area
Fifteen miles of bridle trails provide ample horseback riding for equestrians.
Ferne Clyffe State Park
Located on Illinois Route 37, just one mile south of
Goreville and 12 miles south of Marion, the 2,430-acre
park is easily accessible from both I-57 and I-24. With
camping, picnicking, hiking, hunting, fishing and
sightseeing to choose from, you can't help but enjoy a
visit to Ferne Clyffe.

Blackwell Campground
Blackwell campground is located in the Charles C. Deam
wilderness area, south of Bloomington, Indiana off highway 446.
About Youngs Creek
Youngs Creek Horse Trail is in the middle section of Hoosier National Forest in
Indiana. Youngs Creek Trail is a ten and a half mile loop trail is perhaps the most difficult in the state, with several challenging climbs and technical singletrack.
About Stoney Run County Park
Stoney Run is a County Park located in ther northwest
part of Indiana, just northeast of Leroy off Route 231.
It is vary clean and trails were kept up really well.
Stoney Run County Park is open evey day but Christmas.
